A prizewinner in 15 national and international competitions, Dr. Liquer holds Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Piano Performance and Music Psychology, as well as an Artist Diploma, and has performed across three continents.
His artistry bears the direct imprint of leading figures in twenty-first-century classical music, such as pianists Adam Neiman and Jorge Federico Osorio.
His teaching brings together the artistry of the concert stage and his research on musical expressivity, integrating scientific inquiry and artistic insight to nurture each student’s individual musicianship.
Technique is not an end in itself. It becomes meaningful when it gives a student the freedom to listen, imagine, shape, and communicate.
Dr. Liquer’s work in Music Psychology and his research on musical expressivity inform a teaching approach in which artistic intuition and thoughtful inquiry meet at the piano.
